Chris Lewis, Chair of the VCTA, recently sat down with Darius McQuaid at Money Marketing for a wide-ranging conversation on the 30th anniversary of the scheme, as well as what the future holds for VCTs.

In the piece, Chris discusses the VCTA’s push for an update to the annual and lifetime investment limits of the scheme, as well as the current age limits, which would open the door to VCT support for many more small businesses across the UK.

Chris also discusses the ongoing conversations between the association and HMRC, and the role being played by advisers in terms of communication and education around the scheme for their clients.
