About the manager:
Foresight invests in promising, growing companies, providing private equity, venture capital or private credit to meet the needs of founders and management teams wherever they are on their journey.
By working collaboratively with the companies we support, we provide much more than investment and share operational insights, guidance and make strategic connections. This enables founders and management teams to build resilient and prosperous businesses that have the potential to deliver strong returns and make a positive impact on the societies in which they operate.
From our offices, located throughout the UK & Ireland, we’re actively investing across all sectors and transaction types. Our venture partners, based in the US, Israel and UAE, alongside our larger Group’s international office network, enables the companies we support to grow and make connections in international markets.
The division is led by James Livingston and Matt Smith.

We provide investment across growth, buyout and ventures, alongside providing private credit.
We have three VCT strategies, each designed to help investors meet different goals:
Generalist VCTs: investing in a diverse range of companies across sectors and at different stages of development, from start-ups to scale ups and enterprises.
FWT VCT: The FWT VCT offers investors the opportunity to invest into a portfolio of early-stage deep-tech and engineering companies with innovative and potentially transformational technologies.
Thames Ventures VCTs: The Thames Ventures VCTs invest into venture capital deals, with a focus on potentially fast‑growing companies in the deep tech and enterprise software sectors.
